Progress Report runs in your browser and reads your Canvas course data — student
names, submission status, activity — using your own Canvas login, exactly as if
you clicked through Canvas yourself. That data is displayed to you and is not sent
anywhere. It never touches our servers.
What our server receives
A random install id the extension generated — it identifies your
install, not you.
Your licence key, if you entered one, with the email you gave when buying.
Usage counts: how many reports you ran, how many errors occurred, and your
Canvas domain name. Counts — never content, never student names.
What we don't do
No student data leaves your browser, ever.
No analytics scripts, no trackers, no cookies on this website.
Nothing is sold or shared with anyone.
Support diagnostics
If you ask for help, we may offer a temporary debug session. It sends technical
traces (request timings, error codes) only after you accept, filters out anything
resembling personal data before sending, and expires on its own.
